Hello everyone. I sure hope you all are having a great Christmas.
I have done what I felt was the right thing in my heart and of course that was to buy gifts for kids. We all are struggling with alot of stuff such as the economy and so many other things in life. Today I celebrate my own Anniversary of my marriage of a very long time. What changes I have seen happen over a short time span. Life has made many changes to this world and people who live in it.
One thing for sure for us that Christmas is still the same here in my home. We love seeing the houses decorated up all pretty and neat. Our neighbor's house is the most outstanding one on the block with lights of red white and blue. The reason for the colors is because they had a son who gave his life for our country. I know it must be sad for them this time of year. I wrote a poem for her called I gave birth to a solider.
I think they keep those lights up all year around, to be honest it has been ten years since they placed then around there house.
My goodness how time has passed by. Wow my thoughts are going around in circles here lately since Christmas. I wanted to check in and say Merry Christmas to all of you who read this.
